(scope)
Engagement with a coalition of 80 Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and service providers working to expand access and coordination for Chicago-based entrepreneurs.
(what we did)
Axle led user research and platform design strategy to realign a fragmented digital ecosystem. Through stakeholder interviews, user journey mapping, and systems diagnostics, we identified structural barriers to access, duplication of services, and coordination gaps across the coalition.

• Working with UX/UI designers, data systems advisors, and coalition leadership, we translated research insight into a scalable platform architecture designed for long-term adaptability.
(impact)
Strengthened digital entrepreneurial navigation pathways and reinforced collaboration across Chicago’s small business support ecosystem.
